Visiting Oklahoma City?

Oklahoma City resides in the heart of the Great Plains and is home to more than 1.4 million people. Known for its warm hospitality and family friendly attractions, the city boasts one of the most famous college football teams in the nation—the Oklahoma Sooners. Dr. Webster was born and raised in Oklahoma and chose OKC to establish his cosmetic surgery practice because of the influx of new business ventures, rising culture, and up and coming sites. Bricktown, for example, is one of the hot spots located not too far from Dr. Webster’s office that offers a cozy, eclectic scene full of trendy restaurants, great bars, shopping and nightlife. Oklahoma City is also home to the infamous SkyDance Bridge, Gold Star Memorial, and the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

OKC National Memorial & Museum

OKC National Memorial exterior

The April 19, 1995 terror attack of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was the nations worst terrorist disaster until the events of 9/11. After the bombing of the Murrah building, which killed 168 people, Mayor Ron Norick appointed a 350-member Task Force responsible for developing an appropriate memorial to honor those touched by the event. Over the course of a year, information was gathered from the government, families, survivors, and the general public and the result is a memorial that continues to touch the lives of thousands of visitors each year. The Memorial and Museum offers a complete history of the events leading up to the bombing, as well as a mission that involves remembrance, peace, spirituality and hope, recognition and learning so that OKC can continue to heal from this terrorist event.
