The procedure is done in the office clinic setting and takes about 45-minutes. Dr. Webster will use a local anesthetic to numb the area before inserting the suture. He will then gently insert a needle and guide it through the subcutaneous tissue of the mid-face. The procedure is generally well tolerated. Following the procedure recovery time is minimal. Patients may experience minimal acute inflammatory tissue reaction, minor pain, swelling and bruising.
